Teaching kids and teens about money, giving them allowances, inspiring them to start businesses, instilling the thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and habits of wealthy people, must start when they are young. The younger the better! This is when they are forming their views of the world and are learning what is "normal" and "natural" from those around them - their parents, their teachers, the media and the global world of the internet.
Whilst we appreciate that schools across Australia are doing the best they can, we know that we simply cannot rely on the education system alone, to give our children the financial knowledge they need to become good money managers. We, as parents, have the RESPONSIBILITY to provide them with as much information as we can and need to be more proactive in getting this education to them.
Creative Wealth 101 was established in Australia (2009), to provide kids, teens and adults with the tools and information that leads to the ability to be financially independent.
Our goal is to reach as many "young" Australians lives as possible with our information and that means both promoting financial literacy and providing tools to teach it.
Our Camp Millionaire for kids program was designed to help us reach these goals.
As we continue to develop new programs, like out MovingOut!for teens program (coming soon), the mission will always guide us toward "empowering kids and teens to create financial freedom in their lives!"
